30 Days of Giving Thanks: Day 8

Today, I am giving thanks for the gift of laughter.

I love to laugh. And I love to hear other people laugh. 30 Days of Giving Thanks

There are times when I am having such a bad day, and all it takes is a great big belly laugh from one of the kids to pick my spirits up. There is nothing sweeter than hearing my kids laughing.

And, I will admit – I still love laughing, even though I snort. Oh, yes. I snort like a pig when I really get laughing. That then causes the rest of the room to burst into laughter all over again, and then we find ourselves all laughing uncontrollably.

I’m so glad God gave us something as simple as a giggle to pick us up, dust us off, and show us that everything is going to be ok.

What are you thankful for today?

Laughter yes. Truth is TRUTH when it says “laughter is the best medicine!” As my daddy passed on a few weeks ago, it was laughter that kept us close and looking for brighter days. We love to laugh and share memories. Love it!
