and the emotions are officially out of control…. as is the swelling.
I am SO emotional. It is crazy. Look at me cross-eyed and I will either burst into tears or rip your head off. I kid you not. It’s one extreme to the other.
And the swelling…. ey, yi, yi! By evening, my feet, legs, hands, and arms have ballooned. They look like they are stretched to capacity. It’s really gross. I don’t remember it ever being this bad with any of the kids before. I do remember swelling a bit with Jace and the doctor told me to “go buy some support pantyhose.” Idiot.
We went and saw a brand new baby this afternoon. Heather from church had her baby, a little girl named Adelyn. Such a pretty little thing. And so tiny! She was born weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces. None of mine were ever that small. Ash was the closest at 6lbs 7oz, but Z was 7 lbs, 7 oz, Jace was 8 lbs, 12 oz, and Lucy was 8 lbs, 3 oz. I tend to grow ’em big. I wouldn’t know what to do with an itty-bitty peanut.
Holding the brand new baby made me SO excited for our own little one to arrive. While out shopping for Ash’s birthday, I found the CUTEST little Spiderman slippers for a newborn. Just had to grab a couple of pairs for Parker!
That’s about it around here. Not too much excitement. But comment nice… I can’t predict how I might respond! 😉
