An Update on Cheyenne

Remember awhile ago when I asked you to pray for Cheyenne? Last week, she had a skin graft done on her arm, both legs, and the tops of both of her feet. The burns were worse than they had been told.

She goes to the doctor in the morning and they’ll decide if she needs more skin grafts done or if she will just need to continue healing.

The poor thing is wrapped like a mummy. She came to church tonight and was in my class. You can tell she’s still in so much pain, but she’s a fighter and refuses to let it get her down.

Please continue to pray for her. I just want this whole ordeal to be over for her!

On the plus side, they found out that her mom’s cancer is shrinking! Praise God!! It was at an 18 and it’s now at a 3 – whatever that means. All I know is that the doctors are really hopeful. God is so good. He can do mighty things. I know He can make Cheyenne whole again.

Thank you for your prayers! They really do work!

WOW… anything that shrinks from 18 to 3 sounds great in my book! It is no doubt that our little church in those mountains don’t pray with all their hearts when someone is in need!
