An Update to the What Do I Do Post

Ok, so I apologize for my little freak-out. I was just really upset that an event had been scheduled at exactly the same time I was planning to have Z’s Graduation Ceremony. My husband was sitting right there. He could have said something.

BUT, I think it will all work out anyway. I’m thinking of not doing anything for Z’s graduation. (Does anyone need any invitations or anything? LOL!) What I am thinking of doing is having a HUGE “Vinez Kids Birthday Bash” this summer. Instead of just doing something for Z’s graduation, I’ll have a big party for all the kids – right in the middle of all their birthdays. (Considering we’ve got non-stop birthdays from July to October, I’m thinking August will work well.) We’ll use the field at the church, put up a volleyball net, have tons of games, food, and FUN. This way, all of the kids are included, and no one feels left out.

I’m still planning on sending out graduation photos and making a big deal for Z’s graduation, but I think everyone would enjoy a birthday bash more.

What do you think?

A birthday bash sounds like a great idea! Isn't it funny how a little time and calmer hormones helps us moms to come up with creative solutions? 🙂

I think that's a great idea- and we all have our freak-out moments.
