This afternoon, we had a baptismal service at a neighboring church. (They have an actual baptismal tank. Our church uses the nearby creek. Because an 82 year old man was being baptized, they elected to borrow the church and their tank.)
Anyway, I got up and headed to the back of the little church so that I could take some photos. The pastor got into the water, and then one of the church members followed.
All of a sudden, from across the room, I hear Lulu yell, “Daddy! FAF!!!!!!”
“Faf” is Lu’s word for bath. Whenever there is water involved, the person in or even near the water is taking a “faf.”
She was so excited that she kept smacking Gene on the chest and saying, “Daddy, faf!” every time someone came out of the water.
