“BOBA exists to inspire comfort and functionality to mommies and mommies to be.”

Baby on Board ApparelThe phrase above was the very first thing I noticed when I went to the BOBA website. Comfort is not necessarily a term one associates with pregnancy. But, BOBA wants to change that by giving moms and moms to be comfortable clothes that function well and look fantastic.

Recently, I was sent the Juliet Nursing Top to review. In order to get an honest and accurate review, I was required to wear – and wash – the shirt a minimum of 3 times. It turns out, I love the shirt so much that I wore – and washed – it way more than 3 times. I was a little nervous about the size I had selected, since I went with an XL, and I seem to keep losing weight this pregnancy. However, the shirt fits perfectly, so apparently I’m not losing any weight in my chest or belly. :) It’s long enough that it totally covers the maternity jean stretchy material, which I love.  (One of my biggest pet peeves is when my maternity shirts are too short, and you can see the stretchy waist band or – gasp – my belly hanging out of the bottom of the shirt. This shirt is the perfect length, and that’s one of the reasons why I love it so much! And, yes, I know it’s a nursing top. That’s what I love most about it. Not only does it fit me really well now, but I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it for some time to come after Baby Gage is born. I love an item that goes above and beyond.

BOBA Nursing ShirtThe fabric is so soft and so comfortable. You definitely cannot call it “just” a t-shirt. It’s so much more than that! The ruffles and layers just add so much to it! The shirt is really comfortable, goes with everything, and I love wearing it. I can dress it down by throwing a zip-up hoodie over it, or I can dress it up by putting on a nice black sweater and pretty jewelry.

I’ve washed the shirt dozens of times, and I’ve got to tell you – I am totally impressed. There’s no pilling of the fabric, it hasn’t shrunk or stretched out, and it still looks like it did the first time I pulled it out to wear it. Now, I will tell you that I have not dried it in the dryer. The tag on the shirt recommends not to. (It’s their way of reducing their – and our – carbon footprint.) Just wash it on cold, and hang to dry. It doesn’t take long to dry at all, and it looks great once it is dry.

Because I love the shirt so much, I wanted to check out what else BOBA had to offer. Oh.my.gosh. I think I’m in love! My first stop was their Sale selection. Check out the super-adorable “Ultrasound Shirt” that I found. What a super cute way to announce what you’re having. And it would make such a special keepsake after baby was born, too. You could totally turn it into a pillow or a framed piece of artwork down the road. Plus, at $24, it’s a steal!

After drooling over the ultrasound shirt for quite some time, I headed off to look at their jacket selection. I *love* jackets – hoodies, sweaters, coats, you name it, I’ve got dozens of them. While BOBA only offers 3 different styles, they are 3 of the cutest maternity styles I have ever seen. I love the ruffled pockets and clean lines of the Molly Blazer. The Amelia Coat is beyond gorgeous. Plus, it would look fabulous even after pregnancy. The shirt I received as a review would look simply fabulous with it as well!

Now that I have tried out BOBA maternity clothes for myself, and have taken a look at their website, I’ve got to say that I am definitely impressed. I would highly recommend their entire line of clothes to any mom to be or new mommy. Super cute, stylish, and oh-so-comfortable, they’re sure to please even the pickiest mom.

Oh my, that ultrasound t-shirt is ADORABLE! If I was still pregnant I would be all over that. :) I think it’s great that they have nursing clothing, too! Thanks for letting me know about this store, I love to shop online for my specialty clothing!
