Day 10: 30 Days of Giving Thanks

Day 10: Today, I am giving thanks for school field trips.

30 Days of Giving ThanksYesterday, I had the opportunity to go on a field trip with Jace and the entire second grade class. The school rented several charter buses, and we took a trip to the Tennessee Aquarium and IMax theater in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Even though I spent most of the day surrounded by 200+ second graders, we had a wonderful time, and the kids learned a lot and got to experience things they might never have been able to if it hadn’t been for this field trip.

I will also say that this trip made me VERY thankful that I only had to come home to 6 kids. 🙂

Here’s a picture from our trip:

Only on a field trip could you find something as cool as upside down jellyfish without hopping on an airplane!

What are you thankful for today?

six kids – wow! What a Blessing! I always wanted six, but the Lord had other plans so I will settle with my 4 and now 14 grandchildren! Love the Imax – sounds like a great day.
