Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest (Closed)

National Geographic Energizer Ultimate Photo ContestEarlier this year, Energizer and National Geographic teamed up for their 3rd annual Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest. The entries came pouring in this year, and they had 14, 275 photos submitted. That’s over 2,000 more than last year. (Amazing what word of mouth and social media can do, isn’t it?)

Now, National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson has narrowed those 14,275 entries to just 12 finalists. (I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult that had to be!) But now comes the fun part: Voting!! Head on over to the National Geographic website and pick your favorite finalist. National Geographic Energizer Ultimate Photo ContestThe winner gets a National Geographic Expeditions Trip for 2 to Greece and a feature in an upcoming issue of the National Geographic magazine.

To celebrate the end of the contest and to encourage my readers to vote, Energizer and National Geographic have asked me to host a giveaway! One lucky winner will receive the following:
** 2 packs of AA Energizer Batteries
** 2 packs of AAA Energizer Batteries
     ** Camera Bag

As a photographer, I know that to get the best shot, the right equipment helps. It doesn’t do you much good to see the perfect shot but not be able to take it because your batteries have died… again. That’s where Energizer comes in. Energizer® Ultimate Lithium AA and AAA batteries are the world’s longest lasting batteries in high-tech devices. They can last up to 8 times longer than Energizer® MAX® in digital cameras (results vary by camera), which means you can take your mind off your batteries for awhile and just focus on capturing your own winning photo.

Now, as it says above, this is going to be a very quick giveaway. It will end tonight at midnight EST because voting in the Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest ends today!

To Enter
Head to the Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest Page and vote for your favorite photo. Then, come back here and leave me a comment telling me which photo you voted for.
