February 8th

Jace was being a little stinker today. When I put him down for his nap, I kissed him on the forehead – just like I always do. He gets this grumpy look on his face and says, “I don’t want you to kiss me!” So, I proceed to kiss him all over his face. He laughs hysterically as I’m kissing him, and as soon as I pull away, he gets that grumpy look again and says, “I don’t want you to kiss me!!!” This quickly becomes a game, where he gets the look and says that every time I pull away. Finally, I say, “Ok, honey. No more kisses. You need to go to sleep.” Jace replied, “No, Mommy. Kiss me so I can stay awake.”

Little stinker! 🙂
