Today’s Follow-worthy blog is Toddler Craft. This is one of my favorite blogs for finding crafts to make with the kids.
Zander’s homeschool curriculum came with a book full of art projects. I hate them all. I tried and tried to get into them, but it was just no use. They were boring and just no fun. Zander loves art, and I didn’t want him to lose that love because of a really bad art program. So, I started searching online to see if I could find some crafts that he could do, as well as Jace and Lucy.
That’s when I found Toddler Craft. They focus on crafts geared toward kids ages 1 – 7. Perfect for Zander, Jace, and Lucy. The boys both loved making the Monster Puppet, and they’re now positioned just inside the door of the boys’ room. Why, you ask? Because the Monster Puppets keep the Monsters out, silly!
Lucy’s favorite was the Spring Time Craft. Lucy LOVES flowers, so this was perfect for her. Zander helped her cut out the pieces, and she and I worked together to glue them just right. She was so proud of her creation.
Jace’s favorite so far was the Caterpillar Craft. We read the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar together and then we made this craft. Jace was very creative in his decorating, and his caterpillar sits on the header of his bed now.
The thing I love most about Toddler Craft is that it gets my kids creating, using their imaginations, and working together. Art time has become my favorite time during the week. And you can bet that we’ll still be doing these projects even when we’ve finished homeschool for the summer.
Stop by Toddler Craft and become a follower! I promise that you will treasure the time you spend with your kids making these fun, easy crafts.
And to the author(s?) of Toddler Craft, thank you for such a fantastic site. I love the crafts, I love the tips, and I love stopping by your blog. Please feel free to grab this button if you’d like to place it in your sidebar:
