Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to my family and friends! Another year is here, and it’s another chance for me to get things right.

I’m not making any resolutions this year. I always seem to fail miserably when I do. Instead, this year, I’m setting goals. They’re not lofty goals like losing 100 pounds this year (although that would be nice!) or even being the best mom in the world. Nope. I want goals that I can actually attain by working and making an effort.

My main goal for this year is to build my relationship with Christ. I think that by doing that, everything else will fall into place: I’ll be a better mother, wife, teacher, and friend. I don’t expect miracles, but I do need to change some priorities and do more to please Him.

I’m looking forward to this new year and starting fresh. And I hope you’ll stick around the blog. There will be giveaways, of course, and so much more. I’d love to get to know you better, so leave comments so that I can stop by your blog too! Thank you to my faithful friends and readers. You all mean the world to me and I pray God’s blessings on all of you!

What are your goals for 2010? How did you ring in the New Year last night? I’d love to hear!

I hear you on the resolutions. I try not to make them so I don't set myself up to be disappointed later. I am hoping though to have a baby this year. 🙂 Happy New Year!
