I really do have the best husband!

For the past 2 weeks, Parker has had his days and nights completely mixed up. Try as I might, he won’t stay awake during the day, and when 11pm rolls around, he’s bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to face the day. He snoozes here and there from midnight to 4 am and then finally starts sleeping really well about 5. Then, Zander and Jace are up at 7.

Needless to say, I’ve not gotten much sleep at all this week. It’s made me cranky, emotional, and just not nice. So, this morning, hubby got home around 5 – just in time for Parker to fall into his deep sleep. Gene told me that HE would get up with the boys and I could stay in bed.

And he did. He got up, got them breakfast, did the dishes, cleaned up the living room, and took care of everyone so that I could sleep. I didn’t get up until 10am.

He might drive me crazy, and he might not like my haircut, but he really is a great guy. I’m one lucky lady. 🙂

Some days you just let them sleep in the house when they’re that good.

That was so nice of him and well deserved for you I’m sure.

I think they are generally good when they want to be. Husbands I mean. I know mine drives me insane too but he has some very sweet moments. You are a lucky lady!
