LikeWear: Wear What You Like! (Review)

LikeWear makes a fun, unique line of casual kids clothing embellished with images of brands, products and other stuff that kids like (hence the name, LikeWear)

LikeWear is also unique in that they are the only company focused on selling officially licensed products through a sales force of independent representatives (all of whom are mothers with kids) who in turn sell to local boutique stores and at home parties, local sales events, and via their personal web sites.  They’re like a modern day fusion of a hip, boutique-y clothing line and companies like Mary Kay, Avon and The Pampered Chef.

They offer more than 100 different images ranging from modern day and vintage package art, to unique designs and creative twists on popular vernacular (or some interesting combination thereof).  Some of the brands they have official licenses for include Trix, Tootsie Roll, Wheaties, Honda and many more.   When clothing is purchased through one of their independent representatives, they can help you to mix and match most of our images on any body type or color way that they offer.

My Review of LikeWear
Judy with LikeWear sent me 2 shirts to review: one for a girl, and one for a boy. Before I got the shirts, I wanted to do some more research on LikeWear and find out what they’re all about.

I was immediately impressed that every sale of LikeWear products go to benefit moms. They team up with moms across the country to sell their products through home parties, personalized websites, and even in boutiques. I’ve done direct sales in the past, but never really stuck with it. Why? Because I’m a mom, and the stuff I sold didn’t interest my kids, and actually took me away from my kids. By selling LikeWear, a mom could actually take her kids along to the parties with her and use them as her models. I love that idea. Sure, it’s nice to get away from the kids once in awhile, but if you’re stuck without a sitter, it’s not a big deal. If you want to know more about being a representative with LikeWear, check out this page.

I can’t believe all of the way-cool designs that they offer! With sponsors like Honda, Tootsie Roll, General Mills, and more, you’re certain to find something your kids will love! Ummm…. Like! 🙂 I even found some designs that I wouldn’t mind having on a shirt. (Hint, hint, hubby!) To see their fall and winter catalog of designs, click here.

Now, let’s get to the juice part of the review – the clothes! LikeWear sent Lucy a pink (her favorite!) t-shirt with a great big heart full of cereal boxes. Lucy loved the shirt (as you can tell in the picture) and loved pointing out all the different cereals to me. The t-sirt is adorable. High quality, and different from anything that I’ve ever seen.

The next item they sent was a “Big Boy Bike” shirt for Jace. I can’t even begin to tell you how much he liked this shirt. Jace is my rough and tumble, get dirty, never say stop little boy. He loves anything that has to do with dirt, bikes, playing hard, or having fun. The shirt was perfect for him. And it was the perfect pick-me-up after his surgery. He’d been so down and so miserable, but the moment he saw the shirt, he got the biggest smile. And he’s told me about 15 times that he’s going to be a dirt-bike racer so that he can get his picture on a shirt. Too cute!

Overall, I am really impressed with LikeWear. Their prices are really great, considering the high quality of the product. I do, however, think shopping with a representative would be a lot easier than placing an order on the website, only because they have so many products to go through. A personal representative would be able to assist you with finding exactly what you’re looking for quickly and easily.

So, do we like LikeWear? You bet we do! Thank you, LikeWear, for all you do for moms out there! Keep up the great work, and the awesome designs! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
