With 7 kids that are 16 and under, you can only begin to imagine the amount of laundry I do in a given day. And when it comes to stains? Believe me, there are millions of them. But, because we have so many kids, we have to preserve clothes for as long as we can with hand-me-downs. I need a way to keep clothes looking like new and help them last from kid to kid. (And with 4 boys 10 and under, that’s not an easy task!)
BUT, I’ve found something that helps take care of stains, and keeps clothes looking like new. OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover! A friend of mine told me to try it a few months ago, and I’ve been a believer ever since. One scoop in the washing machine with every load of laundry is all it takes to keep my whites white, my colors bright, and my clothes stain free. I love it! So, when OxiClean and Mom Central asked me to post about the benefits of OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover, I jumped at the chance. I love this stuff!
Since I have a front loading HE machine, all I do is add one scoop to each load before I put the laundry in, then I wash as I normally would.
I want to show you a few before and after pictures of items that I’ve washed with OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover. (The after pictures were taken after running the clothes through the wash with a scoop of OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover – no extra soaking or anything.)
Also, please note: These pictures were taken with my iPhone, and the lighting was different before and after each load, but they were not doctored in any way except to add the circles around the stain as well as the text. The stains are really, truly gone!
First, one of my favorite burp rags of Carly’s. (Spit up stains are the worst!) For this load of Carly’s clothes, I used OxiClean Baby Stain Soaker for Carly’s sensitive skin. It works just a well as original OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover. They also have a “Free” Stain Remover that I will also use on her clothes as well.
Next up, Lucy’s favorite pair of jeans after a day of playing on the muddy playground at school.
Lastly, my son Jace’s white tank top after a mud fight with his brother outside. Gross, gross, gross!
I totally expected those stains to come out, just because I’ve been using OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover for so long that I *know* it works. This is one part of my laundry routine that will not be changing any time soon. I need OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover to help keep my kids’ clothes looking fantastic.
And it’s not just for my kids clothes. My husband has to wear white shirts to work every.single.day. OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover helps keep his shirts looking bright white and brand new. I love it!
And, OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover totally saved MY favorite white shirt the other day. I wish I had thought to take pictures, but I was so horrified at the fact that I had gotten grease all over my favorite white shirt. I immediately soaked my shirt in OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover and hot water for about 4 hours. (I had left the house and came back later.) I pulled it out, washed it with a load of whites, with OxiClean of course, and it came out CLEAN! I was so, so happy! Thank you, OxiClean for helping me save my favorite shirt.
OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover isn’t just for laundry, either. I’ve used it on everything from carpet stains to spills on the couch, and I know others that use it to clean their grout and patio furniture. There are a million uses for OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover, and it’s a great addition to my laundry and cleaning routine.
