I just don’t get it.
I came home from the hospital yesterday, slept 4 hours. Then, Gene took the kids to revival, and I slept on the couch the entire time they were gone… about another 4 hours. THEN, I went to bed at 10:30 and at 8 this morning, I did NOT want to get up.
I have felt more tired today than I have this entire pregnancy. I don’t know if the whole hospital ordeal just wore me out that badly or what, but this is crazy! Every time I’ve sat down today, all I’ve wanted to do is go to sleep. Not exactly the best thing to do when you have 4 kids at home!
I also wanted to share this GREAT article that I found. I often check in on Heather’s Blog, and today, this article was posted. I had NO idea that your diet could affect your asthma or trigger an attack. None at all.
I will admit, my diet lately has not been the best. In fact, my diet has basically been everything listed in the “foods that trigger an asthma attack” lately. With revival this week and so much else that’s been going on, I haven’t been taking the time to make sure we’re all eating right. So, now I’m wondering if my diet is really what triggered Tuesday night’s attack, and the reason that it came from nowhere. I would really explain a lot.
The swelling hasn’t been nearly as bad today, and I’ve been using my inhaler every 4 – 6 hours, just to keep my lungs open. I can’t believe the difference it’s made. I feel SO much better. Now, if I could just get over the tiredness.
Thank you for all the thoughts, prayers, phone calls, and emails. You have all been so wonderful. I appreciate you thinking of me.
