Some Really Great News!

Hubby was able to make it to my MIL’s house last night, before heading back down to work this morning. It was so nice to see him, and the kids loved having Daddy back with them. (None of us would survive if he traveled for work.) Since the roads are pretty clear now, I’m thinking the kids will have school tomorrow. That means we need to head home. I’m sure my mother in law will be glad to have us out of her hair. These kids are a handful to begin with, but when they’re cooped up inside for days on end, they’re really a handful. I’m certain my mother in law will be glad to have her apartment back all to herself. And I know I’ll be glad to be home. Just praying we didn’t lose power or anything, and everything is in working order when we get there.

But, I have some REALLY great news to share, and I wanted to share it with my readers. I know I’ve mentioned that hubby works about 2 hours from home. It’s been really hard on all of us, with him getting up at 4:30am and not getting home until after 9 or 10 o’clock most nights. Well….. his store manager got a phone call this afternoon, and was told that it’s hubby’s last day! As of tomorrow, he’ll report to a store that’s about half an hour from our house, and only about 20 minutes from the hospital that I’ll be delivering in.

I’ve been in tears since I found out. It will be SO nice to have hubby home sooner after he gets off work. AND, there’s a Taco Bell in the same parking lot as the store he’s moving too, so he’ll be able to bring me Taco Bell all the time now. 🙂

I know many of you have been praying that hubby would be moved closer to home, and I just want to thank you for those prayers. They’ve worked! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Since we’ll be home tonight, things should get back to normal around here tomorrow. Thanks for your patience during all this.
