Stain Fighting Technology Then & Now with Wisk

As a mom of 5, I have seen my fair share of stains. Granted, my mom and dad had to deal with stains back when I was a kid too, just maybe not quite so many of them.

I was quite the tomboy when I was little: climbing trees, making mud pies, digging up bugs and worms, riding bikes all hours of the day, playing sports, and so on. I came home with more grass stains and dirt on my clothes than most boys my age because I never stopped moving. Ever. I can’t even begin to tell you how many shirts, shorts, and pants my parents had to throw away because they couldn’t get the stains out of them, no matter how hard they tried.

Stains were different back then, and so was the way they were treated. Take a few seconds and watch this Retro Wisk Commercial: (It’ll make you smile!)

We don’t really hear much about Ring Around the Collar anymore, but it is still an issue. My husband has to wear a white shirt and a tie to work every day. He doesn’t sit in an office, though. He’s out on the grocery store floor, working directly with customers and making sure shelves are stocked. He works hard all day long, and then he comes home with those awful rings around his collar.

There are also lots of other stains we deal with today. With 5 kids – 4 of whom act just like their mother did when she was little, I get laundry piles full of clothes with stains all over them. Most of the time I can identify the stains, but every once in awhile, they’ve got me stumped. I spend countless hours with a toothbrush working at getting rid of those stains. It’s crazy!

Luckily, Wisk has heard my cry, and they are changing the way we fight stains with their new Stain Spectrum™ Technology. They are upgrading their formula to handle the toughest stains. Take a look:

Stains come in lots of types, but they usually fall into 3 major groups:
     * Carbohydrates (milk chocolate)
     * Proteins (grass)
     * Oils (peanut butter)

A few of the other stain groups include…
     * Bio (blood)
     * Bleachable (coffee)
     * Particulate (dirt)
     * Synthetic (ink)

It doesn’t matter what kind of stain you come across in your laundry basket, new Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology is ready to tackle them all!

Starting this month, Wisk will be available nationwide in major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Kroger. The suggested retail price is $5.99 for a 50 fl. oz. bottle that cleans 32 loads. They may be upgrading their formula, but they are keeping their prices low!
