  • Click on the Plus (+) sign at the top left of the page to create a new pad.
  • Follow the steps to Describe your Pad and get to work using the tools on the right!
  • Now, add pictures and create pages to complete your Pad.

Not too shabby for my first try, right? I love it!

While PhotoPad is still in beta, I have to say, I’m in love with it! This is such a great way to share photos with clients, and even with friends and family!

Don’t run a business? That’s ok! PhotoPad is still the perfect way to show off your beautiful babies! In November, I hired a photographer friend to take photos for my family. Here are the results of that:

Have you checked out the PhotoPad app lately? If you’re on Facebook, and you’re constantly sharing photos with your friends, you *need* to check out PhotoPad!

I have had the honor of working with PhotoPad in the past, (read another review here), and I love using the app to share photos with my friends. (And, believe me. No one likes to share photos more than I do! Some days, I’m sure I have people unfollow me because I share so many pictures.) PhotoPad makes sharing my pictures SO easy.

Right now, my favorite feature of PhotoPad is their “Postcard” feature. It’s vacation time for just about everyone I know, and while we aren’t going anywhere on vacation, we do take the kids to the local lake for a fun day of swimming. By the time we’re done, I have about a hundred pictures that I want to share with everyone. The first thing I do, though, is pick my favorite picture from the day and share it with my mom by sending her a postcard through PhotoPad. Then, I use the Photo Book  feature and upload all of my pictures from our day at the beach. Then, I can decide if I want to share it with friends, keep it private for just me to enjoy, or allow friends to add their own pictures to the book. This feature is fabulous if friends went with us to the beach, and we all want to combine our photos into one album. (The PhotoPad books are WAY more fun than just sharing them in a photo album.)

The only drawback I’ve found is that I can’t get all of my photos from a Facebook album to load. For example, I tried to create a book using my “Vinez Vacay 2014” Facebook album, but it would only pull up about a third of the pictures. 🙁 I can upload all of the pictures directly from my hard drive, but with my satellite internet connection, that takes forever. I’d love it to grab all of my photos from all of my albums.

I still love the features PhotoPad offers, and I still plan to keep sending my mom postcards of her grandkids every time we go to the Lake. I know she loves it, and it makes me feel like I’m sending her something just a little more special than just a picture. Since she lives so far away, I want to do something special for her every chance I get.

Check out the PhotoPad app today, and get started creating your own masterpieces to share with the world… or at least your Facebook friends. Then, get social with PhotoPad:

Have you tried PhotoPad? What do you think of it?

PhotoPad Makes Sharing Photos Tons of Fun! { @PhotoPad_vg Review }

As a photographer, I am always looking for fun, easy ways to share photos of my kids with family and friends. Heavens knows I have bazillions of them. But, I don’t want to post just a boring photo to someone’s wall. I want it to bring a smile to their face and make their whole day.

One of my favorite ways to do just that is with PhotoPad.

PhotoPad

If you aren’t familiar with PhotoPad, it’s a Facebook app that has a gaming and sweepstakes twist. And with over 77,000 fans, you know it has to be a great app! (Are you a fan of PhotoPad? If not, visit the PhotoPad Fan Page now and become one! And while you’re at it, be sure to follow PhotoPad on twitter too!)

With the PhotoPad app, you can create photobooks, postcards, ecards, and even gestures. Everything you create gets you into the game. And the more you create and use the app, the more chances you have to enter into the sweepstakes and possibly win a $50 Visa Gift Card.

Using the app is so easy. Create postcards and more with your pictures and you can level up and earn badges. (Who doesn’t love to get a badge and see how great they are?!)

Badges

The app is super easy to use, gets you interacting with friends and family. Not only that, but it is so much fun! If you love to be social, share pictures, and WIN, then PhotoPad is the app for you!

I love the PhotoPad app, and I highly recommend it to all my friends that love to share photos, play games, AND get the opportunity to win prizes!

Hurry on over to the PhotoPad app today and start sending hearts to friends – and see how many you can get back in return.

PhotoPad – Fun with Photos on Facebook

There is an app on Facebook that is quickly becoming my favorite way to “play” on Facebook. It’s called PhotoPad… and it’s so much fun!

With PhotoPad, you can create photobooks, {think digital scrapbooks that you can easily share with your friends and family on Facebook}, postcards, and instant photo sharing with those on your friends list.

The photobooks are my favorite feature. I’ve created several books, and I love the way they’ve turned out. Another awesome feature is that you can even allow friends and family to edit the photobooks – they can add in their own photos and text, and then you have a super special book that everyone can treasure.

Here’s a snapshot of the photobook I’m putting together to showcase our Easter pictures:

The postcards are also a lot of fun. You can create a personalized card and send post it right to your friend’s timeline. It’s quick and easy, and it’s way more fun than just putting a generic “happy birthday” or “happy anniversary” post on their wall.

You can also “level up” in PhotoPad and earn more entries into their monthly giveaway. The more you play with PhotoPad, the more points you earn. The more points you earn, the more entries you get. For every 1000 points you earn in a month, you will get the same number of entries as your level. So, if I earn 1,000 points and reach level 5, I will earn 5 entries into the monthly giveaway. This month, the giveaway is for a $50 Visa Giftcard – definitely something that can be put to good use.

I have really had a lot of fun with PhotoPad. My only complaint is that I can’t get access to ALL the photos in an album. It seems to grab the first 15 – 20 or so, and then I can’t access the rest. I take tons of pictures, so it’s really a bummer that I can’t get to all of them. But, that’s really the only drawback I’ve found in the program. I just want to be able to access all my pictures.

I hope you’ll take some time and play around with PhotoPad the next time you log in to Facebook. I would love to see some of the things you create with the app!
