Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already trying to figure out how to make everything perfect.

I’ve found something that can help! Current Catalog is a great way to get everything you need for the perfect holiday.

Let me share an example.

A friend asked me to make a “Santa Cam” ornament for her kids. She wanted something to hang in her tree to encourage her kids to make better choices this season, and maybe even go above and beyond.

santa cam

It turned out GREAT! But, in order to convince her kids that this really came from Santa, I had to wrap it to make everything look like it came straight from the North Pole. That’s where the Current Catalog came in. They sent me everything I needed to make this package perfect.

The Jumbo Roll of Kraft Paper was perfect for wrapping the box. The Red & White Jute Cord was just what I wanted to tie things all together and give it a little more of a professional touch. And the Candy Cane Curly Bows are the best topper I could have ever imagined. The Gift Tags added a special touch to personalize it all. And, the Plaid Tree Gift Top is a soft, fun way to add a little extra detail. Put it all together, and it really looks like Santa’s elves packaged it up and sent it from the North Pole. Each of these products and more can be found on the Current Catalog website.

Isn’t it perfect? I love absolutely everything about it. I did add one last tiny detail, though….

Because this isn’t really going through the mail, I still needed to make it look that way. One quick label printed off, and it’s ready for me to secretly hand deliver. 🙂 I asked my friend to record her kids’ reactions, and I just know they’re going to love this!

Thank you, Current Catalog for making this project amazing. I love the way it turned out, and I know it exceeded the expectations of my friend. I couldn’t have done it so beautifully without the products Current offers.

Right now, my readers can save BIG on the items in the Current Catalog. Check out these amazing deals:

Start shopping – and saving – now! You won’t believe all the different items you’ll find on the Current website. Be sure to share your creations with me. I’d love to see them!

#Sponsored: Support UNICEF & Enter to Win! #Giveaway

sampleDisclaimer: This is a sponsored post on behalf of UNICEF Market. I received samples in order to facilitate my review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own.

win a unicef market gift certificate

I recently posted about UNICEF here on the blog, and how they have provided more than 6 decades of service for children and mothers. This is a cause that I can proudly stand behind, and one that I support wholeheartedly. Donating to UNICEF is an easy way to help keep this amazing cause going.

But now, there is a better, easier way to donate to UNICEF, and it’s by doing one of my very favorite things: SHOPPING! The UNICEF Market is now open, and you can quickly and easily support their talented artists as well has help UNICEF save and protect children.

The wonderful people behind the UNICEF Market contacted me and asked me to review their new website and spend $50 on their site. Happy to support this cause in any way that I can, I jumped on the chance, and then jumped on the site.

I was truly blown away!

There were so many amazing items! From earrings to furniture and totes to ponchos, they had everything I could even imagine. And every single item was so beautiful and handmade by the most incredible artists.

After browsing the site for what seemed like forever, I narrowed my choices down to two items:

(Please note: I also ordered several other items, but they are gifts for others, and went above the $50 gift card I received in order to do this review, so I will not be sharing them here.)

Knowing the items were shipping from overseas, I expected to have to wait awhile for them to arrive. Imagine my surprise when about a week after placing my order, the items were at my door!

The items were even more beautiful than pictured on the website. I wear the anchor earrings almost every single day now. They are the perfect size and weight and go with almost everything – casual or dressy.

I also use the elephant mug everyday. I’ve started drinking a special tea to help aid in weight loss, and the mug is the perfect size for what I need. Not to mention, it’s just so pretty to look at.

And while I cannot post about the other items I ordered here, I do want to tell you that I love every one of them as well. The UNICEF gift wrap is also a perfect touch so the recipients will know their item helped support saving children. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I am super impressed with the UNICEF Market, and I have already bookmarked several more items for Christmas and Anniversary presents. This may be my favorite new place to shop online, especially knowing my purchase can help make a difference in the lives of others.

The UNICEF Market has also graciously offered up another $50 Gift Certificate to one of my readers. Use the Rafflecopter gadget to enter below. Giveaway Ends April 14th at 12:00am. (Gift code will expire April 30th, so you must shop quickly.)

The Finds iPhone App – Find it, Love it, Share it!

I love a bargain, and when I score a great deal, I want to share it with the world. Lucky for me, now there’s an iPhone app that helps me do just that. It’s the Finds app, and it’s free to download from the app store.

The Finds iPhone App

(Before I go any further, I want to let you know that in order to use the Finds app, you *must* have the iOS6 iPhone software installed in order to use the app. Make sure your phone is updated before you try using it.)

Using the Finds app is so easy! Just take a photo with the app’s built in camera feature, (or you can upload a photo from your camera roll), add in the brand name and what the item is, and then say a few words about the item if you want. Within just a few hours, the Finds app will link your Find to a place online where others can purchase the product. They can also add the item to their wishlist and leave comments on your item.

I absolutely love the Finds app. I’ve added a ton of stuff to my wishlist, and I’ve had a ball uploading things I’ve found in my recent shopping trips. The only thing is – I need more followers! If you download the app, would you do me a favor and follow me? I’ll be sure to follow you back right away. Just look for my name: Angie Vinez. Here’s a screenshot of my profile so you can see which picture I’m using for my profile picture:

Angie Vinez on the Finds App

I have been having trouble with the app adding in my finds. Every time I try to add a picture, it tells me it can’t add it and asks me to try again. The first “find” I tried to post ended up posting 4 times! Yikes! Luckily, I checked it a few hours later and the duplicates had all been deleted and my find had been linked to a store online where it could be purchased.

I do love that the app is so easy to use, and I don’t have to do all the work of linking to the products online. It makes me want to share everything I find with my friends.

Another bonus to the Finds app is that Finds is giving away a $100 Visa Debit Card every week to one lucky user. (Users must post at least once during the week and have at least 3 followers.)

I highly recommend the Finds app to anyone that loves a bargain and loves to share their awesome finds with the world.

Head on over and download the Finds app today! And don’t forget to follow me so that I can follow you back. 🙂

Disclaimer: I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Finds mobile app. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Check Out These Must Have Gifts from @TheSharperImage

This post brought to you by Sharper Image. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been a fan of The Sharper Image for years. When I still lived at home with my parents, we would often travel by plane to vacation destinations. My favorite catalog available on the plane was always The Sharper Image catalog. I loved looking at all the neat gadgets they had available to make life easier.

Now, here we are, just days away from Christmas, and what better gift to give than a gift from The Sharper Image?!

Take a look at a few of my favorite items available this holiday season:

First, we have the Bluetooth Speaker. I love this little gadget. Because of where we live, we don't get any radio stations. (Unless we drive 1 – 2 hours south.) With the Bluetooth Speaker, I could listen to my favorite music that's stored on my iPhone any where I want to. It connects wirelessly, so there are no cords to get in the way. There's even hands free calling available so I can answer the phone quickly and easily.

Next, we have the Sound Soother. As a mom of 6, you can imagine how much noise I hear in a day. Wouldn't it be wonderful to lie in bed and fall asleep to the sound of falling rain? So peaceful and calming. I can only dream about what that must be like! The Sound Soother has lots of great features like an extra large display,  continuous play, and an auto-off timer that you can set for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. This would be such a great gift for a mom who just wants a relaxing night of sleep.

And lastly, we have the Back Massager. I'm pretty sure this would be a little taste of heaven for any mom. Being pregnant for a seventh time, my back hurts so badly some days that I can hardly walk. Imagine sitting in a chair and having a rolling massage any time I wanted. Yep. Sounds like heaven to me! The Back Massager also features a deep-kneeding shiatsu massage feature as well as a soothing heat feature that allows for a deeper, more relaxing massage.

I'm sure you can see exactly why these three gifts from The Sharper Image have made it to my must-have list. What about you? Which of these three great items would you most like to have, and why?

Georgia Tax Free Weekend – August 5th – 7th

Edited to Add: At this time, I am not 100% sure if GA is hosting a tax free weekend or not. I do not want to mislead my readers, so I have contacted the PR rep that forwarded this information to me. If I don’t hear back from her before this goes out to my email subscribers, I want you to know that I’m still looking into this. It is never my intention to give my readers false or misleading information. I will let you know as soon as I hear back. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.

I love a way to save money, and next weekend, Georgia is once again offering a tax free weekend – just in time for back to school.  (Well, for most people! Since my kids go back on the 4th, I’ll just barely miss the tax free deals.)

But just because I can’t take full advantage of the tax free weekend, doesn’t mean that I want my readers to miss out!
