Shrek from a 3 Year Old’s Perspective

For a previous post, I received a pair of giant Shrek gloves as part of the review package.

Last night, Parker found those giant gloves and came running up to me, yelling, “You better run! Here comes Freck the Yogurt!”

Here’s my Freck the Yogurt:

Here, take a look at how cute this review pack is…

So much fun packed into one box!

jace as shrekAs soon as the box arrived, the kids wanted to attack it while they watched the two new movies. {Let me tell you, it was SO hard to decide which movie to watch first!}

We decided to watch Monsters vs. Aliens Mutant Pumpkins from Outerspace first. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the movie. There’s a mysterious alien presence on Halloween, and Susan, B.O.B., The Missing Link, and Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D. are all sent out as special operatives to investigate. All night long, innocent-looking pumpkins are reveals as mutant aliens! Luckily, the monsters are able to smash the aliens’ wicked scheme to take over Earth. It’s a cute little movie that the kids just loved.

Then, we popped some popcorn, passed around the candy and settled in to enjoy Scared Shrekless. First, I have to say that I was so glad to hear the original characters’ voices in the movie. The movie was cute. It’s all about Halloween, and Shrek decides that instead of the usual tricks or treats, they’re going to spend the night telling scary stories. The last one “scared Shrekless” wins. It plays on classic horror movies, and the kids laughed so hard! It got 2 ogre-sized thumbs up from all of us!

I found the Party DVD pack on Amazon for just $15.49.

If you’re looking for fun family entertainment this Halloween, I would highly recommend you check out the Halloween Party DVD Pack with Scared Shrekless and Monsters vs. Aliens Mutant Pumpkins from Outerspace.
