A Money Saving Website You HAVE to Check Out

Living where I do, extreme couponing really isn’t an option – unless I want to drive 3 hours to a grocery store. And I just don’t have hours and hours every day to spend clipping coupons, sorting them, and scouring local grocery store ads. It just doesn’t work for me.

So, I have to find ways to get creative and save money for my family. {Let me tell you, that is NOT easy to do all the time.}

Southern saversRecently, I was introduced to the Southern Savers website. This site has completely transformed my life AND my shopping habits.

My husband works at Ingles, so I only shop there for groceries and necessities. Thanks to Southern Savers, I can log on, find out what’s in this week’s ad, and see if there are any coupons available to help lower the price. It also gives me the option to print my shopping list, {complete with which coupons I’ll need}, and tells me about what I can expect to pay for each item.

Not only does this help keep my costs down, but it also keeps me organized, AND it keeps me from using coupons “just because I have them.” {Ever get in the habit of using the coupon just because you have it, only to find yourself spending more money or buying stuff you don’t need? I did it all the time until I found this website.}

If you live in the South, definitely check out Southern Savers – if you haven’t already. I may just be really behind the times you all already knew about this fabulous little money-saving secret. Not only will you find deals for Ingles, but they also cover Publix, Bi-Lo, and all the other grocery stores down here. They are an excellent resource for helping families of any size save time and money.

Have you tried Southern Savers before? If so, has it helped you save money?
