The Count is Up to 4!

Yep, you read that right! 4 kids with the chickenpox. Zander and Jace both started getting spots last night. That means the only two left are Ashley and Gage. And I am praying with every fiber of my being that those are the two that do not get it.

Ashley is scheduled to leave for camp one week from tomorrow. And Gage is, well, 3 months old. It’s been hard enough to deal with a 2 year old, a 4 year old, a 6 year old and a 7 year old with chickenpox. I don’t think my sanity could handle it right now. Of course, it would be a major bummer if he got it 2 weeks after everyone else did and I was trapped in the house for another 2 weeks.

So, I suppose I should just ask the Lord to bring it on. I’ll be strong. Let’s just get this all over in one shot. I can handle it. 🙂

Tell me: How’s your weekend going?

Oh gosh!! I’m so sorry, sweetheart. Chicken pox is the pits. I haven’t been on the mama end of that, but I remember having them as a kid and I was REALLY sick. Huge hugs to you and your babies–hope everyone is feeling better soon (and I really hope the last two are spared!).
