I can’t believe I had to send them back today! It’s way too soon!

Ashley’s in 8th, Zander’s in 3rd, and Jace is in 1st grade. I met all their teachers last night, and I think we’re in for a really great year!

Great pic!!
My Godson goes back on Aug. 17th! Weird that they start on a Wed. lol
He’s heading into first grade!
I wish your kids a great year!!
I know! I can’t figure out why our school starts on a Thursday. So odd… Hope your Godson enjoys first grade!
WOW! Already? We don’t go back for a whole month here in Michigan. The state doesn’t allow schools to start before Labor Day.
When do they get out for the summer? We get out the end of May, but it’s really not much earlier than anyone else. We just get a bazillion days off during the year. It’s really weird.
We were out June 12th for the summer. We always have a ton of days off during the year now it seems too.
Were in MN and we always start the day after Labor day!
That makes much more sense to me!
So early! When do they get off for summer vacation? Ours kids go back the first day aftEr Labour Day
They get out the end of May, but they have more breaks than you can imagine: fall break, winter break, spring break… And they have dozens of random days off that are reserved for snow days. If there’s even talk of snow down here, they shut school down. It’s crazy! I lived in Chicago when I was in school, and I remember twice in high school that school was closed for snow. Twice. In 4 years. Here, they just have to hear it might be coming and everything in the county shuts down.
