My Review of Rag and Bone

For this review, I received a Day Planner in the Mango fabric. When it first arrived, I was blown away by how truly gorgeous it looked and felt. I have been searching everywhere for a day planner that fit my needs, but was having a hard time finding anything remotely close to what I wanted. I was after something pretty and feminine that didn’t look like everyone else’s day planner. This planner exceeded all my expectations. When my oldest daughter, Ashley, saw the book, the first thing out of her mouth was, “Mom! That’s perfect for you!” And it really is.

There are several things that I love about my new Rag and Bone day planner:
  • It’s beautiful. Covered in a unique fabric, this binder is gorgeous.
  • It’s hand made. Someone used their hands to create the perfect binder, and they succeeded. I love making things with my own hands, so I can really appreciate when an item is made by hand and not put together by some machines.
  • The insert pages are awesome! Not only does it include the standard calendar pages, but you get monthly to do lists, tons of blank pages for notes, and lots of blank pages for your “things to do” lists. It also included a business card sleeve as well as a clear pocket that’s great for pens, notes, and other little items you need to carry with you.
  • I can reuse this again and again. With the refill packs starting at just $13.95, it’s an affordable way to start the new year fresh and keep using my favorite day planner.

The only thing I wish the book had was a place to put your name and contact information. Because I didn’t want to write on the inside cover of the book, I didn’t put my name in there anywhere. Then, I accidentally left the book at a restaurant the other night. (I’m notorious for losing things. It’s a wonder I still have all 5 kids.) When I went back to the restaurant, I had no proof that the book was mine – except to tell the cashier what notes were written in it. An information page at the start of the book could have eliminated the fear of someone swiping it and using it for themselves. But, now I’ve added a label to the front inside cover, and anyone that happens to open the book will see that it’s mine.

Overall, I am completely impressed with the look and the quality of the Rag and Bone Day Planner. This is something that I will treasure and will be using for many years to come.
