VBS Update

Well, here we are – 2 nights of Vacation Bible School have come and gone, and we’ve only just begun. What a great week we have had so far!

I’m teaching the 12 year olds calls. But, since there were so many teenagers, they moved quite a few of the 13 year olds back down. The first night I had 12 kids. Last night, I had 16! What a blessing!

We’ve already had 3 girls accept Jesus as their Savior, and that is what this is all about! I’m praying that by the end of the week, we’ll see even more saved.

I promised you all some pictures of our decked out room, so here you go. (Put your mouse over any of the pictures to pause the show.)

It looks great, doesn’t it? No, we didn’t get the shark’s mouth put up, but I still think the entire room turned out pretty darn cool!

Ms. Sabrina did all of the painting, and I did the boat, the door, and hanging things from the ceiling. Sabrina and I work so well together, and she is just the best helper I have ever had. She’s such a blessing to me!

In other news, today marks 12 years since Daddy passed away. 12 years. That seems like a lifetime ago… and at the same time, it feels like just yesterday. It’s also my Grandparents wedding anniversary and my Aunt and Uncle’s anniversary. So many things happening today.

I’m almost halfway through the week of VBS, so things should start to get back to normal on the blog soon. My appointment with the specialist is on Thursday, so hopefully I’ll have some kind of update for you after that. Thank you for all of the emails, the phone calls, and the words of encouragement. I truly have the best readers (and friends!) anyone could ever ask for.

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend. Now, I’m back to VBS!

Having done a VBS class twice myself and the decorating and getting all the activity supplies cut up and craft supplies cut up, there was a lot of work. Yet, it's all worth it when you know one more soul is going to Heaven.

I am sorry that this is a form letter 🙁

However we spent days following everyone on the Simply Follow list, and out of 690 people, maybe only 10 followed us 🙁

I don’t know if you joined our blog or not, but if you have a moment, could you PLEASE go over to http://www.kiboomu.blogspot.com and give us a quick follow?

Again, sorry for this form letter, but I am going to to back to ALL 690+ people that we followed and leaving this note. Hopefully we will get a super great turnout now!

    BTW I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!

    XOXOXO
    Wendy
