Win & Give from Betty Crocker ("Win & Give Away") CLOSED

Do you have a child who would give up the shoes on her feet to give to someone who didn’t own a pair of shoes? I am blessed enough to have a daughter like that. Ashley would do anything she could to help anyone out – no matter what it meant she would lose. Her heart is pure gold, and I am so thankful for her.

Our kids are our future. We want kids who are excited to win, but also understand the importance of giving to others. Now, with the help of Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks, kids can do both – win and give.

With specially marked boxes of kid favorites – including Fruit Roll-Ups, Gushers, Fruit by the Foot, and Stickerz & Shapes – your child could win one laptop to keep and Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks will donate another to a child in Africa.

Each day from now through May 30, 2010, one laptop prize will be awarded to a U.S. winner. For every laptop won, one laptop will be donated to an African child through One Laptop per Child, an organization that creates educational opportunities for the world’s poorest children by providing each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power connected laptop with content and software designed for collaborative, joyful, self-empowered learning.

Take a moment and look at the work the One Laptop Per Child  program is doing in Africa:

Doesn’t that sound like something you can stand behind? Imagine the lives this program can touch! Absolutely awesome.

Entering is easy. All you have to do is head to www.WinOneGiveOne.com and enter the unique online code printed on participating Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snack packages.

This is a great cause, and I learned that it helps kids in Africa get laptops. How neat is that. 🙂
