My boys are really into scooters and bikes right now. While Zander is very calm and just rides things the way they were meant to be ride, Jace is my daredevil. The child fears nothing and will try anything. He’s the kid that falls off his bike and gets right back up and keeps going. He loves to jump ramps, do tricks, and scare me to death. And he just turned SIX!
When the Shox Scooter arrived, he couldn’t have been more excited. He’s been begging for a scooter for months, and he finally got one! When I told him that it was made with shock absorbers to allow riders to perform cooler tricks, he was instantly hooked. He begged me to let him ride it, and he did… all.the.time. It’s still the first toy he grabs when he goes outside, and I have a feeling it’s going to be that way for a very, very long time. This is one toy he’ll never get bored with.
It didn’t take him long to catch on to riding the scooter, and it seemed like in no time, he was jumping the scooter like a pro. I’m pretty sure I’ve held my breath more since he’s gotten this scooter than I have in my entire life.
I love the sturdy frame of the Shox Scooter, and the overall look of it. It’s definitely worth the $59.99 price tag, because Jace has put this scooter to the test and it’s held up amazingly well. In fact, because of the aluminum frame, there’s not even a ding or scratch on it, and he’s dropped this scooter more times than I can count. I also love the deck that kids stand on. It’s got a rough surface that allows Jace’s foot to have traction he needs to stay put while performing his tricks. Plus, it’s safe for ages 5 and up, so 3 out of my 5 kids can ride it, and absolutely love doing so!
I would highly recommend the Shox Scooter to any family that is looking for the perfect scooter. We’ve owned several other scooters in the past, and this one beats them all. It has been an excellent addition to our outdoor toys, and I know your kids would love it too!
